Covering real estate for USA Today, I explored the warning signs about risky loans that fueled the housing bubble and triggered the Great Recession. These stories highlight my skill to turn large, complicated topics into compelling narratives about real people. When I became the Real Estate Editor of the Associated Press, Inman News named me one of their 100 Most Influential People in Real Estate.
